A-TOM-MIK now offers the "RIGHT" copper for great lakes trolling. Our ultra dense 7 strand extra soft copper will average a depth of 20 feet in the water column for every 100 feet of wire out. The 45# copper we selected has been used in the finger lake region of New York state for better than 30 years. After letting many of our Pro Staff team including Captains and tourney guys run these wires throughout 2006' we were extremely pleased with the feedback. We are very happy to put our name behind this product and offer it to the many who we have catered to now for several years.

The Fly Box |
The storage answer for trolling flies, box measures 15 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 10 inches high. Very durable,
heavy duty, o-ring sealed top with removable tray. Package deal includes 45 perma-clear fly tubes with tops, tubes
will accept 4 inch trolling flies and harness with up to a size 2/0 treble, or 6/0 single. Tubes measure 4 5/8 inches by
1 3/16 inches wide. Box made by Plano for marine storage applications, weight approx. 4lbs.

Torpedo Trolling Weights |
13# trolling weights, slender design with very good tracking features and very little "blow back" compared to most weights. Eyelets are coated for rust prevention, extra heavy duty and secured with
2 nuts and 1" washer inside weight. Trolling at 3mph 100 down will yield about 35 - 40 degrees in
cable sway (standard size cable).

Dropper Weights |
A-TOM-MIK recommends not dropping lead, instead rigging them for retrieval. A very popular
method of fishing since the 80's on the great lakes. The newly named "Thumper" technique has
been an awsome method of reinventing the wheel, utilizing these type weights inconjunction
with running dodger/flies. In 2004 while A-TOM-MIK/Cold Steel was participating in the Lake
Ontario Oswego Pro/Am, our last fish of our tournament limit was taken on the "Thumper" trolling these
type weights, it was our biggest king and the points from that fish helped our win. The "extra" rod
using this rig usually pays off big.

Fly tying tools & components

Economically priced fly tying tools, your standard tools for building trolling flies the right way. I have used a "Regal" fly tying vise for 20 years for applications associated with stream type flies, this Pro AA vise certainly isn't a Regal, but I wouldn't offer it if it was not adequate for this job. From the fall of 2001 to the fall of 2003 I have used this identical vise for building thousands upon thousands of trolling flies. Our commercial tiers now use them exclusively, along with our basic scissors and bobbins these tools will make all the flies you will ever need.

Wide cut 1/16 flashabou

Wide cut holographic fiber material and 3 dyed pear colors. 1/16 flash designed for salt water applications or musky baits and spinner baits, this is a very subtle material but on the hardy side, add much flash to almost anything or add a new twist to the great lakes fishery and give old Mr. Chinook something different to look at!!

Standard minnow flash

50/50 blend of silver minnowflash and straight colored material. The same 1/69 cut in size, very
popular in the bucktail industry. Adding strands of this material will add plenty of flash due to its
very reflective nature, also can be used in whole for making trolling flies. Please keep in mind
very small amounts of this material is all thats needed to acquire the reflective nature.
