Kevin Davis & Andy Bliss

Oswego locals Captain's/River Guides Andy Bliss and Kevin Davis enjoy some winter weather the first few days of March 06'. They dropped by and picked up some spawn and off they went to grind it out in the snow. Taking Rainbows like these is definitely not for the timid hearted, these guys have it in their blood and face what Oswego County has to offer on a daily basis. Nice job guys, and a nice catch, many more fish were taken on this day but it's down right cold to get that camera out.

Thanks for the shots!!! Love them grins!!!

Dear A-TOM-MIK

Our fourth year at the "Bar" yielded a batch of 40 quality Kings, this was from 4 of 5 fishable days last week in the 06' Spring LOC Derby. The big story was the average size was up a whopping 5 lbs over the last 3 years. The other big news was the rigger bite was cold and the wire diver bite was unbelievable! We were running 3 wires with dipsy's with A-TOM-MIK Flies and various flashers. We caught a token King each day on the one rigger (we sometimes ran). The size of the alewives in a few was dramatically larger, which could be contributing to the large fish. If someone asked me about comparing the good ole' days (mid 80's on Lake Ontario) I would reply "The good ole' days are right now !!!.

"A-TOM-MIK Tom" with the 7th largest Salmon taken on Lake Ontario during the Spring L.O.C. Derby. The 22lb.10oz. salmon hit a fly in front of Oswego, (Photo courtesy of Capt. Tommy Germain from "Lil Whip Charters") Capt. Tommy and Tom were fishing the L.O.C. and took 31 kings from 12 lbs. in several days fishing. Salmon came on Michigan Stingers, Raiders and A-TOM-MIK's.

Hi Tom,
Here is a pic of a 32.76 pound King that I caught on your TG fly behind a spin doctor on a wire slide diver set at 3 and 104 feet back. This fish took second in the big fish category on day 1 of the 2006 summer Scotty at Bowmanville. I have used most of the other well known flies on Lake O and have to say yours are the best, the two hook system is awesome, I have not dropped a fish on that hook set-up yet.

Tom,
The prefish was great in the 06' Bowmanville Scotty, your TG Fly and Hammer Fly along with the LBB were taking big fish constantly, thanks again we appreciate the quality of fly you tie!

Tom,
We got this nice 18lber on a green three fly A-TOM-MIK behind a glow green Oki. Lots of salmon in 100-120' of water off West nine mile point laying on bottom. I'm sure if we spent the day we could have put a hurting on them. Thanks for everything

Hey Tom
The TG fly is still working good as you can see, we went out last night for a bit and got a ton of Rainbows and a few nice Kings. The NBK doctor and the new A-TOM-MIK Misery fly was good also. Here is the fish on the TG, Damn that fly is hot !!!

Salmon shown with the deadly Owner/tandem rig embedded. These rigs will add to your hook-up percentages, the proof is "in the pudding" as they say. The T.G. Fly strikes again, thanks for the shot Steve and thanks again to Capt. Tommy Germain for your ever growing popular fly color scheme!!

"This is our staffer scotty's boat, he just got it re-lettered after the "Hammer Fly" appropriately named after him.

I am so proud!!

I caught these two nice salmon at Fairport Michigan trolling a pearl white A-TOM-MIK Fly behind a Pro-Troll e-chip flasher. The large one was 23 lbs 12 oz. and the smaller one 21lbs 1o oz.. It seems I was the only one to catch big fish that day. Thanks for a great product,

Today (July 15, 2006) the TG + white/double crushed ice Inticer off the wires (170 ft out was hot on a 2 1/2 setting) was hot and RiggorMortis (Steve Knights) did well on Tom's Powder Blue fly/blue+crushed ice SD off his wire.

(A-TOM-MIK comment: That is one beat up powder blue fly & rig, gotta luv them rattles !!!)

Largest was around 23-25 lbs (all fish released).

A mid May outing with Skein Machine and friends, Skeiner gave the new Opti Inticer's their chance to perform and that they did. Coupled up with some A-TOM-MIK's and a good day was had by all....... Skeiner always on the cutting edge with new photo ideas as well.
