Roland Poulin
Roland R Poulin with a 40 pound king taken on a "Challenger Series A-TOM-MIK 3-Fly-Rig". The Chinook, taken in 100 FOW off of Oswego was 43 inches long and had a 29" girth. Nice fish Roland!!! Roland was pre-fishing the "Fall LOC" derby on Lake Ontario, this fish was caught the day before it started... |
(Below) "I had ordered some fly's off A-TOM-MIK in July 04'. We received some extra's due to our order being delayed for a few days. We started running the fly's the day they arrived with great sucsess. We had many 20 -30 fish days on the lake pulling some decent size kings over 25lbs. August 22, the last week of the Great Ontario Salmon Derby one of the fly's that we received as an "extra", color #76, fired on my partner Matt Santoro's dipsy, a 30.78 lb king that held for the last 7 days of the derby to win us a $40,000 grand prize boat package. We also fished another 2 day derby with these fly's that gave us a top 10 finish. We are true believers of this product and are spreading the word on the Canadian side of Lake Ontario.

![]() Tommy Germain
Tommy Germain with a nice King June 25, 2005, fish hit a prototype fly not on the market yet. Oswego, NY on Lake Ontario (Update) This fly is now known as the T.G. Fly created by Captain Tommy Germain. 60 days after its creation by Tommy we put it in 1 tackle shop, "The Oswego Salmon Shop" they sold just shy of 700 pieces in about 3 weeks, it landed 2 Salmon in the Fall L.O.C. and was the end of more Salmon than any other fly in such a short period of time. Tommy called us on his last trip of the season Sun. Sept. 11, 2005, Tommy had just tripled, he was running 4 T.G Flies and 3 of the rods fired, what a way to end your last trip. Thanks Tommy, nice choice....... |

Hello Tom, (July 22, 2005) The salmon fishing in Lake Ontario has been a banner year for me since I have started using the A-Tom-Mik flies. The attached pictures show some of the salmon that we have been nailing off of Wellington in Lake Ontario just south west of the Scotch Bonnet Island. We found that the flasher and fly combos outperformed other baits especially when fishing down deep and when the fish were ignoring other presentations. We ended up the week hooking into an average of 12-18 salmon each morning with many over 20 lbs. and the top two just over 26 lbs. Thanks for the great product and I look forward to replenishing my stock of flies soon for my two weeks of holidays coming up. Regards, John Bates |

2001 & 2004 Pro/AM Winners
Winning team "Cold Steel / A-TOM-MIK" gives credit to A-TOM-MIK Trolling Flies and Shark Cannonballs for the 2004 Pro/Am win - Professional division - on Lake Ontario on July 9th and 10th 2004. 10 1/2 hours of fishing in 2 days yielded over 400 points, 19 fish, (17 of which were salmon) and a total purse of $8600.00. Congratulations to Tom Burke, Andy Bliss, Tom Allen and Scott Lewis. This is first place finish number 2 in the professional division of the Lake Ontario Oswego Pro/Am. A-TOM-MIK is having an outstanding 2004 season with big fish awards from the Niagara Pro/Am on Lake Ontario going to 5th place team in the Pro division "Team Rebel". Todd Lapa was the angler aboard Rebel who also won the "1000adayderby" with the same fish on an A-TOM-MIK. Team "Suriki" placed the largest fish of the Oswego event in the Pro division on an A-TOM-MIK, this out of 64 teams. Many teams claimed A-TOM-MIK products contributed to their success, including 3rd place Amateur team "More Marvelous". "1000adayderby" on Lake Ontario have too many wins to list on the same products, from NY to Canada many anglers are cashing in on some big wins running our flies and rigs. |

Scotty, what took you so long coming through on that prediction? Item used was an A-TOM-MIK style pearl glow Twinkie rig behind an 8" Pro Troll. HEY, GREAT WORK GUYS!!! Photo's courtesy of Skeiner |

Hi Tom,
I have had great success with all your flies, especially your mirage glow
flies; I added purple beads for a “purple mirage glow” fly that was on fire
the last few weeks of my season. It worked on every flasher and spinner I
had out under all conditions. But my best set ups were this “purple mirage
glow” behind either an 8 or 11 inch pro-troll Prochip white flasher they
could not resist it. Since I started using your flies all of the other
fly’s I have don’t see the light of day. Great work, looking forward to
seeing what you will have new for 2006.
Here are a few pic's from trips I had on Sept. 18th and 19th., 2005 |

Hi Tom |

A couple of weeks ago we were in a tournament on the west end of Lake O. Pre-fishing was hot and the Atommiks were sssssmokkin’ off the wire divers. The lake was stable and we had a great program set up. The night before the tournament we had a bad northeast blow and all our fish were gone! Six hours into the tournament and only 2 fish to show for it we were in need of one more fish for our box (3 fish tourney). I have one Atommik green crinkle that is my little pet. This fly has been the end of so many kings this year. Its beat up, frayed and torn, but still has never let me down.

Just got home from fishing, took a friend out who never fished with
downriggers a day in
his life, this King hit the wire diver with your #23, 31lbs. One of many
Kings over 30 lbs. this season on your Atommik's,
it just doesn't get any better, thanks for everything. |

Tom, I pulled my boat home Sunday and I wanted to thank you for your outstanding service and product! This year of the hundreds of salmon we boated the A-TOM-MIK FLY was the most productive lure on the boat! I hope you have a good winter and I will be in touch to order from you when I take a inventory of the boat Thanks again! DEL CASTERLINE (LIQUID PLUMBER) |

Tom, What can I say but Wow! I was there when you first saw how those "flies" would really catch fish. Now almost five years later I want to say you have the best flies on the market. Period! When you came out with the no head fly I threw every other fly out of the boat. Then came the dodgers, what can I say your white glow edge dodger with a green/glo fly was my best rig until mid summer, then the T.G. and Mirage just cleaning up on those Staging Kings. I ran that White Dodger in the 05' Niagara Pro/Am for 5th, Oswego for 7th, and Sodus for 2nd. I even had to beg Brendon of Screwy Louie's to bring me more off his wall because I lost mine on the first day fishing for Lake trout. We had a dam Lake trout take it after we had our limit of Kings! Now you just keep finding new colors, your always willing to try something new. So keep up the good work and we'll keep trying to make you proud. Capt. Andy Bliss Team ColdSteel/A-Tom-Mik Fly (below) ![]() Andy Bliss

![]() Tom, "I picked up your ATOMMIK'S yesterday headed right to the lake! Took 5 fish on your flies with a Spin Doctor! Monkey puke and the green and blue flies. We fished a few hours and ended up 7 for 11 so not bad for an evening fish! Heres the top 3 fish from June 3rd, others were 14 - 16lbs and a small 10lber.--" Regards, Geoff Hoover Wild Reels Fishing >> Photo Page 2 |
