Crimps
Note: Nickel plated crimps for monfilament applications need only to be crimped lighly. A light crimp with hold a teaser in place with ease. A harder crimp is needed for wire applications.
Note:
For proper application of teaser for tying teaser rigs, the use of an 8mm bead is needed. First add crimp, then 8mm bead, then your teaser of choice (mylar, skirted, squid, fly, etc.)
Note:
Beads and crimps sold on this site are of proper sizes for all applications associated with constructing teaser type rigs. Our 8mm beads have the right I.D. for non slippage of teaser over crimp.
Note:
When manufacturing your own rigs please keep in mind proper techniques for achieving the best results from your rig. If using our mylar skirts on our injection molded heads we recommend using our components. Our 8mm beads in conjuction with our crimps will give the ultimate flare required from our mylars.
